When God Says Go Take a Hike

When God Says, “Go Take a Hike,” Stepping Out in Faith

Psalm 121: 1 – 2
I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Rudy Wilson Galdonik, Humorist, Speaker and Author of "Take Heart!"Many people who claim to follow God live safe, unfruitful lives. But God has a perfect plan for each and every person. It is when we seek after Him for direction, guidance and love and we are willing to step out in faith that things really begin to happen.

We are all created for a purpose and it is God who fills us with passion and brings us to a place where we grow totally dependent on Him. . . all to His glory.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to make God # 1 in your life,
  • How to revive a faded relationship with Him,
  • How to let go and trust,
  • How to celebrate Him, even through the tough times.

You will come away with a new sense of awe in how God is able to lead and love you to a whole new place, all according to His will — which many times is a place beyond your wildest dreams.

Do fun and faith really mix?

Attendees will learn:

  • How to take your spiritual walk seriously and yourself lightly,

Rudy Wilson Galdonik uses lessons she learned when God called her 16-year-old son to solo hike the 2,168-mile Appalachian Trail during his junior year in high school. Despite initial fear and doubt, Rudy not only saw God’s hand in this amazing feat, she and her son experienced numerous blessings along the way.

This program can be a keynote or an interactive retreat.

Rudy has a beautiful spirit and is able to share the word of God through her awesome humor. Rudy’s easygoing nature also made her a delight to work with as a speaker. I am sure Rudy would be a blessing to any group as she was to ours. ~ Bonnie Schowang, Londonderry Presbyterian Church
